গানে ভুবন ভরিয়ে দেবে
ভেবেছিল একটি পাখি
হঠাৎ বুকে বিঁধল যে তীর
স্বপ্ন দেখা হলো ফাঁকি।।
তাই গান শোনাতে হায়
কন্ঠ কেঁপে যায়
তারে হাসিমুখে যেতে দাও
শেষবার শুনে নাও।
মনে রেখো, মনে রেখো,
তার এই শেষ গান।।
যার গান শুনে একদিন
কন্ঠে পড়ালে মালা
আজ তোমাদের সভা হতে
তার বিদায় নেবার পালা।
ঝরে কত তারা আলোকে
মনে রাখো বলো কে
ছিল কত সুর বুকে তার
জানিবে না কেহ আর।

With songs shall fill the airs
Thought so a a little birdie.
Suddenly her heart was hit by dart
Her visions are now deceptive.
So now to raise a strain,alas
Her throat quivers
Let her go in smilingly.
For last time hear attentively.

Whose songs you used to dedicate
Today she bids farewell from your syndicate
So many stars fall in skies.
